LMSA scholars participated in the Carnegie Science Center Mobile Fab Lab on March 19th, 20th, and 21st 2024.

We are thrilled to share fantastic news that LMSA has collaborated with the PPG Foundation to establish a FAB LAB and makerspace at our school. We are excited for the learning experiences the FAB Lab will bring to our middle school and high school scholars. Read more about the newest addition to our school.

The LIFE MSA Basketball Team will be holding tryouts on Tuesday, November 7th at 7:00pm. The team will compete in the PIAA - District VII WPIAL Basketball League. We are happy to announce that the PLUS tutoring program returned to LIFE Male STEAM Academy in Pittsburgh this week! On Wednesday, October 18th, a dozen tutors from Carnegie Mellon University (CMU) provided personalized math instruction to all sixth, seventh, and eighth grade scholars at LIFE Male STEAM Academy.

Whether your students are interested in arts and humanities or sciences and math, there are many ways for them to turn their interests into a career. From saving lives with environmental engineer Amy Pickering to bringing your favorite characters to life with Kirsten Lepore, use the following videos of people working in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM) fields to inspire your students to pursue work in their favorite subjects.

On Monday, March 6th, LIFE scholars came together during homeroom to create a Super Bowl themed STEAM Project of their choice.

LIFE-SMART® Hosts a Mission Vision Clinic on the LIFE Campus

Scholars developed a business plan that fed, transported, and provided power for an island of 1,000 people. The goal was to produce the least amount of carbon emissions.
